Windmill Hill On-grid Solar Project
The Windmill Hill On-grid Solar Project in Ireland showcases PV Logics’ expertise in integrating renewable energy into existing grid infrastructure. With a capacity of 80kWp, this project aims to significantly reduce electricity costs for the client by harnessing solar power, thus promoting environmental sustainability and economic efficiency.
Project Features:
High-Efficiency Solar Modules: The installation of 172 Jinko 470W solar modules ensures optimal power generation, contributing significantly to the reduction of electricity costs.
Advanced Inverters: The system is equipped with two robust grid-connected inverters (60kW and 20kW) from SUN2000, providing efficient energy conversion and seamless integration with the grid.
Energy Storage Solutions: The inclusion of two Pixii Battery Powershaper 2 systems, each with 50 kWh capacity, enhances the system’s reliability by storing excess energy and ensuring a consistent power supply.
Protection and Monitoring: The main protection panel with import/export meter and reverse power protection relay ensures safe operation and compliance with grid regulations.
Impact:
The Windmill Hill Solar Project has successfully decreased electricity costs for the client by supplementing their energy consumption with solar power. This not only provides economic benefits but also contributes to reducing the carbon footprint. The project’s integration of advanced inverters and energy storage solutions ensures stability and efficiency, making it a model for on-grid solar installations.
PV Logics is proud to have delivered this project, demonstrating our capability to design and implement high-performance solar solutions that align with clients’ financial and environmental goals. The Windmill Hill project stands as a testament to the potential of solar energy to transform energy usage patterns, promoting sustainability and cost savings.
